Rigging Capabilities

Western Tool & Fabrication is equipped to carry out a variety of machinery moving tasks. Our specialty is moving lighter machine tools that weigh less than 6000 lbs, although our services include some capabilities for much heavier equipment. If you just purchased a machine from a dealer or even on ebay, we offer a range of services to get that machine sitting safely on your shop floor.   • Loading, Transporting, Unloading, and Machine Placement
  • Weight capacity of 4000 lbs includes machines like Bridgeport knee mills and similar sized milling machines and lathes with about 13" swing
• Machine Pickup and Delivery
  • The services above, except the dealer has a means of loading the machine on our truck
  • Weight capacity of 7000 lbs includes most moderate sized manual machines and smaller cnc machines
• Machine Placement and In-plant relocations
  • Cranes are contracted as needed to load or unload machines beyond our lifting capacities. Your machine is moved to the cranes reach or into location on machinery dollies or rollers
  • These capabilities are also extended to in-plant relocations to make room for new equipment or increase plant productivity.
  • Weight capacity of up to 60 tons (when load bearing conditions are sufficient) includes virtually every type of machine imaginable.
